You try me at my desk,
But I’m never there or just hiding among the mess.

You grab me in the hall,
But I’ll hardly give you time at all.

You have an issue and need instruction,
But I’m gone before the introduction.

I am running to a meeting
And messages overflow my seating.

It’s ok, though, you are the real expert.
Turns out I am just the extrovert.

You get so much done, I am amazed.
Your great abilities leave me truly dazed.

I have learned so much from you
Even among all there is to do.

I just wanted to take a moment to say
“You are appreciated every day.”
