A Black Death is infecting the world.
No Cancer, it’s a fever.
We hunger and thirst,
Corrupt and kill for it.

Its blackness comes from Life’s end.
It is putrefied death; purified to cause more.
It is fermented life suckled from Mother’s depths.

We pave our asphalt streets with death’s black
To aid our path to consumption’s excess and destruction.
